An attempt to get the tribal knowledge out of my mind

Here I'm trying to identify & organize GOOD resources for learning healthcare claims data. For a type of data and set of methods as old as claims data & analysis are, it's crazy there aren't a half-dozen textbooks on the topic...but there aren't. Let's see if we can piece together from what already exists.
